CALCULATION OF THE PMUA SEWER AND SOLID WASTE BILL

 

Sanitary Sewer Rate

Your PMUA sanitary sewer bill is calculated based on your previous year water usage.
This information is provided to us by NJ American Water.

Multiply your usage amount (total water usage) by PMUA's 2011 Sanitary Sewer rate @ $5.78. This grand total represents your yearly charge. Divide this total by four (4); this represents your quarterly sewer charge.

All properties with a usage amount equal to 40ccf's or less, will be assessed the minimum sewer charge of $57.80 per quarter.
